Jayson started his career in the music industry where he was most well-known for managing Lauryn Hill. He then segwayed into being heralded as a producer, including working on a Tony Award® winning theater play, an Emmy Award-winning film, and Grammy Award-winning music. He guided the career of poet Sarah Jones during which time her work in Bridge & Tunnel received an Obie Award and a Tony Award for “Best Special Theatrical Event” on Broadway. Jayson went on to produce the Netflix original documentary What Happened, Miss Simone? which garnered 19 award nominations, 6 wins, including Jayson’s Primetime Emmy Award win.
